WSF Privacy Policy

The World Skating Federation is serious about safeguarding the privacy of our supporters. This page contains information about our policies for the various interactive features on our web site.

Mailing lists

We do not sell or share our mailing lists, or make public the list of subscribers to our mailing lists. We do not collect personal information from subscribers to our mailing lists. We also do not subscribe anyone to our lists without their consent.

Our mailing lists are hosted by Yahoo! Groups, and are also covered by the Yahoo! Groups Privacy Policy.

Tell A Friend messages

We do not automatically track either the senders or recipients of "tell a friend" messages sent with the link that appears on our web pages. These messages are sent from your own mailer and do not go through the WSF.

Take Action messages

We do not automatically track messages sent from the "take action" section of our web site. These messages are sent from your own mailer and do not go through the WSF. However, we do ask that you voluntarily cc: any "take action" messages you send to the WSF so that we can track the effectiveness of our letter-writing campaigns. Your e-mail address will also be visible to the recipient(s) of your letter.

WSF online store

The WSF Online Store features secure online ordering in partnership with CafePress.com. You can read CafePress.com's privacy policy here. The personal information collected when you place your order with Cafepress.com is used only for the purposes of filling your order, and will not be sold or shared by the WSF.

PayPal donations

The WSF uses PayPal as our authorized processor for online donations. You can read PayPal's privacy policy here. The personal information collected by PayPal when you make a donation is used only for the purposes of completing the financial transaction and acknowledging your donation, and will not be sold or shared by the WSF.

Other inquiries

The WSF treats all inquiries or comments addressed to us (for example, through our general info@worldskating.org address) as confidential, unless we explicitly ask for and receive your permission to do otherwise.
